VISA OVERVIEW

The one that is granted to the foreign investor, investment company representative or attorney and is intended to allow the entry of its holder, for the purpose of implementing investment projects approved by the Council of Ministers.

REQUIREMENTS

1. PASSPORT OR SIMILAR DOCUMENT
The document must be valid for not less than 6 (six) months.

2. COMPLETED APPLICATION FORM
The form, available in the High Commission, entitled REQUEST FOR ENTRY TO MOZAMBIQUE must be duly completed and signed by the applicant. The form can be completed only in English, Portuguese or French, in capital letters and black or blue ink. Abbreviations and acronyms are not allowed.

3. RECENT PHOTO
Applicants must provide a recent passport-sized photo.

4. INVESTMENT AUTHORIZATION
Applicants are required to present an Investment Project or Term of Authorization issued by the Council of Ministers of Mozambique or another competent entity.

5. PROOF OF ACCOMMODATION
Applicants must provide a copy of Proof of accommodation/ Bookings (in Mozambique).

6. TRAVEL ITINERARY (Tickets & Bookings Reservations)
Applicants must provide a copy of the airline ticket. The ticket must be round-trip.

7. MEANS OF SUPPORT
Proof of possession of sufficient funds during the applicant’s stay in Mozambique.

8. MEDICAL REPORT CERTIFICATE

Medical certificate (Valid for at least 03 months).

9. CRIMINAL RECORDS CERTIFICATE

Criminal Record Certificate, issued by the competent authority of the country of origin or country of residence (Valid for at least 03 months).

Investment visas are subject to application processing fees.
